Kate Frost

Kate Frost started writing stories when she was seven and off school for a few months following open-heart surgery. Since then she's had fiction and articles published in The London Magazine, New Welsh Review and QWF, been one of the winners of bestselling author, Kate Mosse's Baton Stories competition and taught the Lifewriting course to Creative Writing undergraduates at Bath Spa University. \n\nKate has a BA Hons Drama from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and a MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University. She now spends her time looking after her young son and working as a freelance writer but has in the past worked in a factory, as a Virgin Vie consultant, a bookseller, at NHS Direct and as a Supporting Artist in film and TV (briefly appearing in Vanity Fair, King Arthur and The Duchess). Kate writes women's fiction and children's fiction for 9-12 year-olds.
